LFL: A Proud Supporter of Education in Sierra Leone

At LFL, we believe that corporate social responsibility is not just a buzzword, but a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the world. That’s why we were so proud to get involved with a crowdfunding campaign to build a new school in Sierra Leone. We originally set out to raise £1000 to contribute towards the build, and were over the moon to raise 103% of our target.

Sierra Leone is a country with a rich cultural heritage, but also one of the poorest countries in the world. Education is a fundamental right for all children, yet many in Sierra Leone do not have access to it. That’s why we were honoured to support the initiative in Jah Kingdom.

We are delighted to announce that the project is now complete and the new school will provide education for hundreds of children. Not only will it provide access to education for those who previously did not have it, but it will also create jobs and stimulate the local economy.

And what a privilege it is to see the nursery named in honour of a very special boy, Jacob.
