For all referencing cases where an employment reference is obtained, we standardly verify the employment and income to give you the peace of mind that the reference has been obtained from a registered business where it has been confirmed, either verbally or written, that both the referee and applicant are employed. Open Finance can be opted in to by the tenant at no additional charge – and this is not dependent on the reference being completed, unlike our SMART Reference service where opt-in is mandatory.
